New York producer Max Tannone, the brains behind Mos Dub, Dub Kweli and Jaydiohead projects is back, with a genius new mash-up record.. This guy needs no introduction, his previous work speaks for itself. The new project is called Ghostfunk and on this occasion Tannone pairs Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah, with vintage African funk, high-life, and psychedelic rock music.

Max Tannone Mos Dub: MC Ren Renincarnated: MF DOOM Operation: Doomsday: Mouse On Tha Track Swagga Fresh Freddie: N.W.A. N.W.A. and the Posse: Basically, this is the neglected little cousin of Straight Outta Compton. Same lyrical content, just a little bit more rough on the edges. Regardless, a really awesome album.

Dec 28,  · Max Tannone - Kampala Truth Work (from 'Mos Dub' album, / self released) 'I had to pull this perfect dub/hip-hop mashup from NYC's Max Tannone in to the mix. Tannone's 'Kweli Dub' is the champion sound but there's something about the way he combines Mos Def's accapella with the Dub Specialist Kampala/Johnny Osbourne's 'Truth and Rights.
